Climate Acceleration
Many things are contributing to climate acceleration. But, there are also things we can do to help and prevent further acceleration.

What are the causes and effects of climate accerleration? What can we do to fix climate acceleration?

Because of climate acceleration things such as floods, fires, droughts, and heatwaves. Seas are warming and rising faster, causing more floodings. Glaciers are also melting at a faster rate than expected by decades. Statistics show that the melting rate is growing so rapidly that in the Arctic there may be ice-free summers in the 2030s. Scientist research shows that climate acceleration/change will cause the world to be "dangerously close." Physicist Philip B. Duffy states that "So much of what we’re seeing is exactly consistent with what’s expected from climate change." This is only a fraction of the climate acceleration that is happening in our world today.

There are things that we can do to reduce climate acceleration. Including, the price of carbon emissions. Adding a price to greenhouse gases we are creating a reason to produce less. We could also contribute to using clean energy instead of using dirty energy. Clean energy consists of solar energy, wind energy, hydropower, etc. The third thing we could do is reduce deforestation. Deforestation destroys forests that are essential for "keeping carbon in the ground and maintaining the climate."
